Mändjala beach is several kilometres long and famous for its beautiful sand and sand dunes. It is where the main beach resort of Saaremaa is situated. Originally built in 1976, a former recreation centre has been turned into a charming white beachfront hotel that attracts customers with its private location, spa, restaurant and conference services. Since 2001 Hotell Saaremaa, formerly known as Männikäbi hotel, has been gradually renovated and expanded. Today it welcomes its guests all year round. From January 2006 Hotell Saaremaa accommodates one of the first Thalasso Spa complexes in Estonia. Thalasso Spa offers a wide range of health and beauty packages.
